Production Terms
PACKAGES
Please contact me regarding specific pricing for your production. I offer custom packages tailored to suit each client’s unique needs.
1-DP ONLY
If a Director has already been assigned to your project, I offer my services as a ‘DP- only’ (Director Of Photography) and while on set, will share my 16+ years of expertise in cinematography. With access to over $130K in production equipment, you also have the option to request my DP services (plus equipment) for an additional cost. In the case where I have to bring my own equipment to set, you will receive the raw footage at the end of the shoot upon full payment. Please bring a new or empty external hard drive (Mac and PC compatible) with at least 1 TB capacity so I can transfer the files to you. If instead you prefer that I provide the external hard drive, the cost is $100/$150.
2-AERIAL SERVICES
Over 10 years experience as a professional drone operator. The cost of professional Operator services depends on the model of Drone that I will use (travel cost may apply).
Phantom 4pro V2(4K video): Rental plus my service the cost is about $350 for 2 hours.
Inspire 2 cinema RAW version ( 5.2K video) : Rental plus my services is approximately $1500.
3-DIRECTOR & DP
As a Director and DP, I will manage all the aspects of filming to ensure a smooth running experience on set. I will enable you establish a concept for your project by bringing creative ideas to make your project stand out from the competition. At the end of the shoot and upon full payment. You will be provided with the raw footage of your production. Please bring a new or empty external hard drive (Mac and PC compatible) with at least 1 TB capacity so I can transfer the files to you. If instead you prefer that I provide the external hard drive, the cost is $100.
4-PRODUCER, DIRECTOR & DP (EDITING INCLUDED)
Everything mentioned above plus full pre-production (locations, casting, props, Gears, crew, etc.) and post-prod are included. The most popular package amongst clients, which includes a professional crew in charge of all the production aspects of your project.
Once the editing of your shoot has been completed and approved by you, I will send two (2) links via “Wetransfer” where you can download your final cut in both 4K and 1080 resolution versions upon receipt of full payment. The links will expire in approximately 7 days. Make sure to download everything before that expiration date. I suggest you save and back up the files as I do not store them.
HAIR/MAKEUP
For both men and women, I strongly encourage having a professional makeup artist. Almost every client shown on my website used a makeup artist. I can book the makeup artist on your behalf. I have a roster of talented makeup artists available that also do “light” hair. If you have a professional makeup artist that you prefer to work with, you must clear them by me before bringing them to your shoot. Please arrive “camera ready” unless you have hired my makeup artist. You will have plenty of time for touch-ups or whatever you need as we shoot.
If you are going to be working with my makeup and hair professional, we ask that you come with a clean face plus hair washed and styled.
WARDROBE/ STYLIST
A stylist is a great option to help you look your best and ensure that your ‘look’ fits the concept of your project. I usually work and book a preferred stylist that offers a range of options for us to sift through and approve. In the event that you choose to bring your own wardrobe, you must clear your clothing selections by me before the shoot date. I will help you sort through and pick what to wear, but please have ideas prepared for what you like and want to put together. Please make sure everything fits well, is clean and ironed (if needed), and ideally on hangers.
Payment for the makeup artist and stylist is paid separately.
PRODUCTION DETAILS
STANDARD EDITING, COLORS & EFFECTS: $800/$1700
The post-production process is a separate service from the actual shoot unless you choose Package #3, which includes two (2) standard edits of your project. Editing includes the final cut, standard video effects and color correction for Music Videos and Commercials alike.
Once editing is finalized, you will receive a preview version through a private link via ‘Vimeo’ for your approval within 14 business days. You are able to make two (2) changes* to your project free of charge. Any additional changes are subject to a fee.
Upon final approval and payment in full, I will send two (2) links via “WeTransfer” where you can download your final cut in both 4K and 1080 resolution versions. *ADDITIONAL EDITS
All projects include two free standard edits (up to 1-5 changes). Every additional edit is an extra $200 and may include 1-5 changes per session.
ADVANCED EDITING, COLOR GRADING & SPECIAL EFFECTS SERVICES
These advanced services are a great way to make your production stand out from all others. Advanced editing and color grading is a flat rate of $150 each/ per hour.
Special Effects which can usually be found in big budget Hollywood productions is an important option if you wish to elevate your visuals to a higher level. Depending on the nature of each project, custom pricing is available upon request.
TEASERS & TRAILERS
A teaser is a 30 second clip mostly used to promote music videos. It is taken from the final cut of your project with an ‘artist’s name’ title card in the beginning and a ‘release date/ coming soon’ title card at the end. You will receive a private link via “WeTransfer” where you can download your teaser in 1080 resolution. The link will expire in approximately 7 days. Make sure to download everything before that expiration date. I suggest you save and backup the files as I do not store them.
Flat Price: $50
A trailer is typically 1:30 to 2:30 minutes in length for films, 45 seconds for music videos, and is a completely new edit with sound design, video effects and voice over. It entails advanced editing, music composing, title cards with motion design (3D optional). Pricing is available upon request. Here is a example of trailer to help you to understand the difference.
*FINAL REVIEW EDITING
All projects include two free standard edits Modifications: up to 1-5 changes (meaning 5 modifications are included in the two free reviews if the request goes up to 5 regular changes). Examples of changes include Title, Fonts, moving clips on the time-line up to 5 times in once or adjusting transitions. An additional edit charge ( $200 or up) may apply and may include 1-5 changes per session.($200 or up) may apply and may include 1-5 changes per session.
DEPOSIT & PAYMENTS
Receipt of your deposit confirms you have read and agreed to the terms on this page:
A non-refundable deposit is required above $1.2K to lock-in your shoot dates and ensure that we reserve the most important production aspects such as location(s), makeup artists, models, props, etc. You may pay your deposit by cash, PayPal, Venmo, and CashApp etc. The balance of your payment can be paid with cash (preferred), check, or wire transfer at the end of your project. Payment for the makeup artist and stylist is are made separately.
Fees for work are non-refundable and there are no re-shoots unless there is a technical issue with the camera equipment.
UNDER $1.2K
All productions must be paid upfront and in full upon booking for this production tier.
$1.2K TO $9K
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book your shoot and begin pre-production. The balance of your payment must be completed once the final cut is approved by the client.
OVER $10K
Payment in this tier can be split into three installments. A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to book your shoot and begin pre-production. 30% of your balance is to be paid the first day of shoot and the remaining 20% must be completed once final cut is approved by the client.
CANCELLATIONS/ POSTPONEMENTS
Deposits are non-refundable. However, your deposit may be transferred to new shoot dates as long as you reschedule no later than 48 hours after pre-production begins.
